Text: Daniel 1:1-15
What have you sacrificed for God for his death on the cross.
Daniel, Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego rejected the eye-pleasing and delicious foods from the King because they saw it to be unholy and may defile their Godly nature.
Christians in our dispensation also has to stand and maintain for the glory God has imputed on us.
1 Peter 2:9 says But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
So this means we’re not ordinary( we’re priests, consecrated people who share in the very nature of God) and therefore we must not live as pleases yourself nor this world but the one who saw us from afar and called us into His marvelous light
Again, We shouldn’t be entangled with mediocrity but we must strive for excellence through the power of God which is abundantly available for us.
Your appearance, talk and behavior must depict where you belong (heaven). Let heaven endorse you.
Deliberate on this
- Can God rely on you??
- Is your priestly garment still pure ??
May the Lord bestow His mercies on us all
